As the New Year approaches, the time has come enshrine the important events of the year in a scrapbook
Every year has its share of glory and happiness for every individual. Such things are not merely given for momentary gratification. All the good things that happen in our lives are meant to leave their lessons in our minds and hearts. The best way to remember them is by enshrining them in a scrapbook. And the best time to assemble those happy memories is towards the end of the old year. Gather all your memorable photos and newspaper clippings and group them according to their themes in a year’s end scrapbook. If you have most of your photographs in a photo album, take them from there and find them a nice page in your thick scrapbooking album. Did your eldest child just got married last month? You could put the photo of your first ferris wheel ride or a photo of your high school graduation or your debut in your scrapbook. Besides just the photo, you could insert any greeting cards and messages that you received in connection with the event you are commemorating. You will find many which can effectively enhance each page in your scrapbook. You can include important messages that you received in relation to a happy event. If the theme of the page is your 18th birthday party, you might want to snip off an inconspicuous portion of your debut dress and attach it to the scrap book along with the pictures that were taken on that event.

You can even start a scrapbooking project telling old fairy tales that you used to love so that your children or nephews can read them.
